Technical Sales Engineer

Technical Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer / Sales Support Engineer required to join a leading engineering supplier of Hydraulic Engineering products and services.

The successful Technical Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer / Sales Support Engineer will focus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts across for Hydraulic / MRO products such as hoses, fittings, valves, pumps, cylinders, power packs, and similar Hydraulic related products.

The successful Technical Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer / Sales Support Engineer will ideally have experience selling or managing key accounts of products related to Fluid power / Hydraulics such as hoses, fittings, valves, pumps, power units, valves, cylinders, and or similar hydraulic / mechanical engineering products. Full product training provided.

Technical Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer / Sales Support Engineer Role

• Will focus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts across for hoses, fittings, valves, pumps, cylinders, power packs, and similar Hydraulic related products.
• Maintaining fluid power / Hydraulic product sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
• Will also support the field service team by providing technical support as well as hands on support.
• Work remotely / field based with regular visits to customer sites.
• Liaise with various engineering departments.

Technical Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer / Sales Support Engineer Requirements

• Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar within mechanical engineering.
• Experience selling Fluid power / Hydraulics such as hoses, fittings, valves, pumps, power units, valves, cylinders, and or similar hydraulic / mechanical engineering products. Full product training provided.
• Experienced Hydraulic Engineers are highly encouraged to apply.
• Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed, grow, and bring on new business within Fluid Power marketplace.
• Full clean driving license.
• Willingness to operate remotely with travel to customer sites across the North East of the UK when required.
