Management Accountant

Michael Page are working with an Education Trust to recruit a Management Accountant. The role will be temporary, ongoing for the next 3 months to cover a period of absence.

This is a grade 8 role paying 38626 - 41511.

Client Details

My client operates within the Education sector and have a family of 18 schools spread across Northumberland.

Description

The successful Management Accountant will:

• Undertake financial reporting and budget planning.
• Provide strategic insights based on financial analysis.
• Ensure financial compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Collaborate with various department heads to establish financial objectives.
• Implement financial systems to enhance efficiency.
• Manage external audits and address any discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Contribute to the overall goals of the Accounting & Finance department.

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

• Demonstrable experience in a Management Accountant role or similar.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Education or charity experience would be preferable.

Job Offer

Full time role + Temporary for the next 3 months + Permanent opportunities + Band 8 role paying 38626 - 41511 + Pension 22.2% + Full time and part time hours available (full time is preferred)
